what you are joining.
Duration, care, accommodation, movement and special costs. Besides the nice pictures, they make a road. Every departure has its own detailed program.
Tempo, terrain, company
First, we're talking about the program, your experience and your expectations. Before departure, we will clarify the equipment and the conditions for participation; in the field together with the local team, we will adjust the day to the actual circumstances.

Seven days in the saddle, several night tents or a photo stop means different needs. In a personal conversation, we discuss past experience, load, simpler accommodation and dietary issues.
The work of local escorts, service providers and hosts is part of the journey. And we take the weather and the terrain seriously in addition to the program plan.
The next step
The enquiry form starts a conversation. You should know what to expect, and I want to understand what you are looking for from the trip.

You will find the enquiry form on the relevant trip page. We will then talk in person.
Participation, commitments and payment conditions shall be laid down in the agreement on that journey.
It's good to know.
Details change on the way. Here you will find answers to the briefing; the concrete commitments are recorded in your own programme and agreement of departure.
No. You can take the Kazakhstan-kirgiz photo tour with phone and photographer without prior training. We'll give you more time for the pictures, and I'll help you with your composition, your use of light. Special education or workshop work is always agreed according to the specific programme.
The cultural tour, the desert walk and the high mountain trekking are different loads. Following the 2026 Nomads, its daily stages are usually up to 20 km; Ladakh has five consecutive trekking days. We'll start out of your own experience and discuss daily movement, terrain and rest.
The Kyrgyz chivalry means seven consecutive days in the saddle. You don't have to be a professional rider, but if you have little experience, I'll recommend riding lessons and, preferably, field riding before departure. Before you make a decision, let's talk about how much you've been riding and how you're holding up on the multiday burden. Horse-riding trip FAQ ↗
It's a roadkill. On the Saharan infantry, camels carry large packages and community equipment; at Ladakhi trekking, they are supplied by cargo horses and mules. While walking, you'll have your daily equipment. The size and size of the luggage are discussed separately.
During the trip we can have hotels, local guest houses, juras and tents. On the Kyrgyz horse section we sleep in the yurts of local families, typically three to four; in Ladakh during the trekking in tents of two. Bathroom, shower, heating and electricity are available at the given accommodation and time. What is it worth knowing about the Yurta accommodation?
Don't use the same equipment list to prepare for every trip. In Ladakh, tents and mattresses are part of the program; their own sleeping bags may be available or rented by prior consultation for a separate fee. The 2026 Sahara road also lists tents, mattresses and bed linen. The exact personal equipment will be checked before departure; you can only collect sleeping bags on the basis of a certified information document for that route.
The detailed list of the route always follows. The Kazakhstan-Kirgiz photo tour includes breakfast and dinner, lunch is paid separately; the horse show and the Ladakhi program offers full board. The last Marrakesh night of the 2026 Nomads is a special expense. Please also check the terms of your personal purchase, drinks and services outside the programme according to the respective offer.
Let's check departure, arrival airport, date and connection first. The entire flight period may differ from the day of the local programme. I will help you choose the appropriate flights; the cost of the flight ticket is a separate item of the relevant offer. Do not consider an old post flight or ticket as a current booking proposal.
We'll talk about the details of your trip, your experience and your questions in person, usually on video calls. The start-up agreement then sets out the participation and payment. The card is not a permanent reservation in itself. In the participants group, we also arrange pre-departure information in one place.
There is no uniform payment or cancellation rule for every trip. You will find the deadlines, the amount of the deposit, the remaining fee and the cancellation terms on the side of the specific departure and the name agreement. The discount of another year or other program is not automatically valid for the chosen path.
It's the first meeting. Tell me what you need to eat and what you need at your quarters or daily movements. Clear the solution with local partners before you finalise participation; do not assume that the same can be achieved at all locations.
Weather, terrain, access and local conditions can change the course of days. The conditional programming point is forecasted; a planned visit to a family or workshop is not the same as a service already confirmed. The management of significant changes is clarified in accordance with the specific programme and the agreement.
No. I've organized self-knowledge trips with therapists and group leaders, but a cultural tour, photo tour or trekking alone is not a therapy program. Guided self-knowledge work is only part of the journey if it is explicitly stated in the given description, by the professional manager.
Yeah. We can plan our way with photo school, creative group, friendly company or our own self-knowledge team leader. Local organisation and professional programme are coordinated; responsibilities, documentation and the content of education are discussed separately. Trips for your own group ↗
