Morocco Portrait & Landscape Photography Tour

📅 Dates: February 24 – March 7, 2026

📍 Locations: Marrakech, Aït Ben Haddou, Dades Valley, Zagora, Erg Chegaga, Tissint, Tata, Taroudant

👥 Group Size: max. 10 participants

🎒 Focus: Portrait & landscape photography with depth, mood, and storytelling

What is this journey?

This is not a conventional photo tour. It is a visual pilgrimage into silence, light, and stillness. We will move through landscapes where the human figure dissolves into vast spaces—dunes, abandoned villages, red cliffs, and slow-moving shadows—all becoming part of an inner map.

A professional model will travel with us, enabling intentional creative work. Each day we will design scenes—narrative portraits filled with character, gesture, and emotion. Participants are free to explore in their own visual language while receiving full technical and artistic guidance.

Highlights

• Two desert nights deep among the dunes

• Photography at the red rocks and waterfalls of Tissint

• An abandoned Jewish village in Tata—where history and silence meet

• Taroudant’s old town, markets, and city walls

• Daily opportunities to work with a model in iconic settings

• Encounters with artisans and Berber portrait sessions

Who is it for?

• Photographers who want to tell stories with their images

• Creators seeking more than “beautiful scenery” and aiming to capture emotion

• Travelers who wish not only to see, but to immerse themselves

• Anyone ready to step beyond familiar visual templates

The Tour Leader – Henrik Le-Botos

Henrik Le-Botos is a photographer and founder of Beyond My World. His work has been published by NDTV, IndiaTimes, Travel Masters (Timeless Morocco feature), UNESCO (Geoparks grant), Brittle Paper, and Annette Frost Jensen (Atelier Shaman), and his photography has been exhibited in Europe and North Africa.

In addition to professional tours, Henrik has organized photography journeys for schools, guiding students to capture Morocco’s landscapes, cultural encounters, and moments of stillness through the lens. This teaching experience adds a strong educational dimension to his workshops—balancing technique with creative exploration.

Through his own nomadic desert treks, Henrik has learned to read the light and silence of Morocco’s vast spaces: how wind reshapes shadows, how compositions shift when we surrender control, and how images deepen when we allow ourselves to be fully present. His photography is not about technical perfection, but about moving something within the viewer. Quiet, poetic, and cinematic—this same attention guides the entire journey.
